MBraun offers a full line of TIG, MIG, vacuum and other weld chambers, purge boxes, laser welding systems and welding accessories. Today's welding applications not only focus on the mechanical stability of the joint but also the cleanliness, smoothness, lack of impurities and leak tight properties.

Although the idea of welding with inert gas is not new, MBraun is constantly perfecting their weld chambers.  Weld chambers assist in avoiding the use of expensive manually operated shielding systems such as gas lenses, trailing shields and backing bars.  All of which also require highly experienced welders to adjust to the correct shielding conditions.  However, even with a knowledgeable welder, shielding gas alone will not necessarily prevent the welded material from being exposed to contaminants such as Oxygen, Moisture and Nitrogen.  Even with the slightest exposure to one of these elements the weld can be discolored and brittle.

Since shielding has increasingly failed to fully protect the weld many industries have moved to the more efficient method of welding in a glovebox or weld chamber.  An example of the industries that are increasingly demanding MBraun weld chambers would be those welding medical implants, microelectronic parts, airline parts and titanium castings.
